Terms of Service

Welcome to Celabe. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Celabe mobile and web applications, websites and related services (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Carson Rodrigues, an individual based in Goa, India (“Celabe”, “we”, “our” or “us”).

By creating an account, accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if that is higher, to create an account and use the Service. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you give us is accurate and complete. We delete accounts that we learn belong to someone under 18.

You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for all activity under your account. Tell us straight away if you suspect someone else is using it. Keep your information accurate and up to date. We may suspend or close accounts that contain false information or break these Terms.

Celabe connects you with third-party vendors for weddings, events and celebrations. We help you discover and contact them. We are not a party to any agreement you make with a vendor, and we do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality or availability of any vendor or service. Bookings, quotes, payments, deposits, cancellations and refunds with a vendor are governed by the terms you agree directly with that vendor. Read a vendor's terms before you book.

Some parts of the Service cost money: in-app purchases, vendor listing packages and the agentic planning service. The price and what you get are shown before you pay. In-app purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are also covered by their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your store account settings. Our Refund Policy explains when and how you can get your money back.

The Service lets you create and share content, including invitations, wedding websites, RSVPs, photos and videos posted to event albums, messages and profile details (“User Content”). You keep ownership of your User Content.

By posting User Content you give Celabe a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display it, only to run the Service for you and the people you share it with.

You are responsible for your User Content and confirm you have the right to share it. Only post photos and videos of people who are happy to be shared, and of children only with permission from their parent or guardian. Event hosts can remove content from their albums. Anyone can report content or block a person from Settings > Safety in the app.

You agree not to use the Service to break any law; infringe anyone's rights; post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, defamatory or obscene; impersonate another person; spread malware; scrape or harvest data without permission; or interfere with the operation or security of the Service. We may remove content or restrict access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been broken.

The Service, including its software, design, logos and branding, belongs to Celabe and is protected by intellectual property laws. Apart from your own User Content, nothing in these Terms gives you a right to use our trademarks or materials without our written permission.

The Service links to or works with third-party websites and services that we do not control, including the optional AI assistant, app stores and sign-in providers. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices. Our Privacy Policy explains what data we share with them.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.

To the extent the law allows, Celabe will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or your inability to use it. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. See Delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Terms that by their nature should continue after termination will continue.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes we will update the “Last updated” date above and tell you in the app. If you keep using the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

If you have a complaint about the Service or about content on it, contact our Grievance Officer, Carson Rodrigues, at carson@celabe.com. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts in Goa, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
